It's not so much "whatever that means." It's whoever...

"Dear Elder Cannon: you are hereby called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Colombia Bogota North Mission. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 24 months...You will prepare to preach the gospel in the Spanish language... "

Baptisms are my fav.

So, Wilson got baptized!!! Happy day.

He really was just super-prepared from day 1. He's an amazing person, and the ward (especially the YSA) has been really good about supporting him and being his friend and taking him to activities and such. :) Awesome. I'll attach pics.

Today we played futbol again. It's kind of a common thing when the entire zone is just Elders. We love the sisters a lot, but they don't usually like to play futbol, so we have to be more creative about our activities. But when there's just Elders, there's not much else we like to do. Haha. Well, that's not entirely true, it's just a really easy, cheap, and fun activity. We also ate delicious BBQ. Which is...different than in the states, but still delish.

We're still working with Alvaro, but he got sick and we couldn't get ahold of him all week. So, hopefully he's doing alright. We are praying for him every day, so I think he'll be okay.

So, life's been really good. I can't complain. It's not too cold, not too hot, until the sun comes out (2600 meters...it burns here).

I basically love being a missionary. It's the greatest. :)

So, take care, and I'll talk at you all again next week. :)
